FAQs
When is the Masters of the Universe movie coming out?
What Masters of the Universe movie toys does Mattel make?

  • Mattel makes Masters of the Universe movie action figures in three ranges, grouped on this page as Kids, Origins, and Chronicles. Alongside them are vehicles such as the Roton and the Fright Fighter, the Battle for Eternia playset with Castle Grayskull and Snake Mountain, and role-play gear. Our movie collection also includes Mattel Brick Shop building sets, Barbie Signature He-Man and Teela dolls, and the UNO Masters of the Universe Movie Card Game.
What is the difference between the Kids, Origins, and Chronicles figures?

  • Kids figures are 5.5-inch scale and made for play, with 14 movable joints on the standard figures. Origins puts movie characters into the classic Origins style at the same 5.5-inch scale, with 16 points of articulation. Chronicles is the 6.5-inch collector line, with movie-accurate details and 30 points of articulation on figures like He-Man, Teela, and Skeletor.
Do the Masters of the Universe movie figures look like the characters in the film?

  • Many do. Figures across the Kids, Origins, and Chronicles collections are modeled on the characters as they appear in the movie, including He-Man, Teela, and Man-At-Arms, and the Chronicles line adds Skeletor and Evil-Lyn.
Are there Masters of the Universe movie role-play toys?

  • Yes. The Power of Grayskull Sword is a 27-inch role-play version of He-Man’s Power Sword from the movie, with lights, phrases, and sounds from the film, and motion-activated vibrations. The Skeletor Mask has glowing eye sockets, and opening its jaw plays 6 movie phrases and 4 diabolical laughs. For collectors, the Deluxe Movie Havoc Staff stands 5 feet 8 inches tall with lights, battle sounds, and a smoke effect.
What ages are Masters of the Universe movie toys for?

  • Most of the movie action figures, vehicles, and role-play toys are rated 6 years and up across the Kids, Origins, and Chronicles lines. The UNO Masters of the Universe Movie Card Game is for 2 to 10 players ages 7 and up, the Mattel Brick Shop building sets from the movie are rated 13 and up, and the Deluxe Movie Havoc Staff is made for adult collectors ages 14 and up.
Where can I buy Masters of the Universe movie toys?
