TikTok and Instagram are not affiliated with this Contest in any way and are not responsible for the administration of the Contest or the awarding of the prize. No endorsement or approval of Contest by TikTok or Instagram is expressed or implied.
1.CONTEST ENTRY PERIOD: The Hot Wheels™ Tiniest Team Principal Title 2026 Contest (“Contest”) begins at 09:00 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) on May 20, 2026 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time (PT) on June 16, 2026 ("Contest Entry Period").
2.SPONSOR: Mattel, Inc., 333 Continental Blvd., El Segundo, CA 90245 (“Sponsor”).
3.ADMINISTRATOR: Ventura Associates International LLC, 494 Eighth Avenue, Suite 1700, New York, NY 10001 (“Administrator”).
4.ELIGIBILITY: Contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, age 18 or older (or who have reached the age of majority in their state of primary residence, whichever is older) as of date of entry who are parents or legal guardians of a child (or children) between the ages of 5-10 years old. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Employees, officers and directors of Sponsor, Administrator, and their respective, affiliated and subsidiary companies, advertising and promotional agencies and suppliers of promotion materials and services, and any other entity engaged in any way in the development, production, printing, distribution or execution of this Contest (collectively "Contest Entities") as well as F1 and the Event Organizer (defined in Section 14 below), and members of the immediate family or household (whether or not related) of such individuals are not eligible. ("Immediate family" means spouse and parents, grandparents, siblings and children and their spouses, whether or not residing with the ineligible individual.) The Contest pages and advertisements relating thereto are intended for viewing within the United States only.
5.HOW TO ENTER: During the Contest Entry Period, parents or legal guardians of a child or children ages 5-10 may enter the Contest by following these steps:
i) Create a video of your eligible child showcasing their passion and pride for
ii) Login to your public TikTok or Instagram account (“Account”) during the Contest Entry Period and share the Video using the hashtag #HotWheelsTiniestTeam and #Contest in the first line of the caption and tag @hotwheels (for TikTok) or @hotwheelsofficial (for Instagram). You may include additional text within the Video and/or in the caption to support your submission. All posts must comply with the applicable platform’s Terms of Use.
iii) Follow the Sponsor’s social media account (@hotwheels on TikTok or @hotwheelsofficial on Instagram). You must remain a follower of the Sponsor’s TikTok or Instagram account for at least sixty (60) days after the end of the Contest Entry Period in order to receive winner notification if your Entry is selected as a winner.
Once properly posted in accordance with the steps above, the submission will be considered your “Entry” in the Contest. The parent or legal guardian of the child depicted in the Entry and who submitted the Entry using their own public Account will be deemed the entrant (“Entrant”). Multiple Entrants are not permitted to enter using the same Account. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an Entrant, such Entry may be disqualified at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. The Sponsor is under no obligation to disclose the reason for disqualification beyond stating that the Entry was deemed ineligible under these Official Rules. No acknowledgement of receipt of any Entry will be provided.
6.ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: Entry must comply with the following guidelines:
- Each Video must have a minimum length of 30 seconds. While the Video may be longer than 60 seconds, only the first 60 seconds will be judged. Videos beyond the 60 seconds may be used to break any tied scores, see Judging section 7 below.
- Child depicted in the Video must not be represented by an agent.
- Entrant must be the parent or legal guardian of the child depicted in the submission.
- Your Entry must be your sole original work and may not have been previously published, submitted, or otherwise used for any other commercial purpose.
- You must own all rights in the Entry and have the right to grant Sponsor a license to use the Entry (including any material embodied in the Entry).
- Your Entry must not contain any prominent use of trademarks, logos, landmarks, or copyrighted materials owned by others (except for those of Sponsor).
- The Entry must not contain obscene, profane, lewd, defamatory or inappropriate content, or be disparaging to Sponsor, as determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion.
- Do not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to create your Video. If you use AI in any portion of your Video, your Entry will be disqualified.
If an Entry includes any of the prohibited elements listed above, the Entry will be disqualified, along with the Entrant who submitted it. The above list is not intended to be exhaustive; the Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any Entry for any reason, in its sole and absolute discretion, including if it finds an Entrant acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or harassing other Entrant(s).
By submitting an Entry, you grant to Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, and licensees a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to edit, modify, reproduce, promote, distribute, exhibit, exploit, and otherwise use your Entry in any and all media, now known or hereafter devised, in any manner, without further notice, consent, or payment to you. The rights granted herein include, without limitation, the right to post your Entry on Sponsor’s and its subsidiaries’ and affiliates’ websites and social media accounts. The inclusion of a post in the Sponsor’s social media feeds or website(s) does not indicate that the Entrant who submitted it is a winner. Furthermore, you agree to forever release and hold the Sponsor, TikTok, Instagram, their respective affiliates and subsidiaries, promotion agencies involved in this Contest and their officers, directors and employees of each of the foregoing, harmless from and against any liability of any kind arising from or in connection with any use of the Entry. Sponsor is not responsible for Entries that are garbled, damaged, incomplete, late, blurry, deleted or misdelivered. Entries using bots or other forms of automatic entry will be disqualified. Sponsor may prohibit an Entrant from participating in the Contest or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said Entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by cheating, deceiving or using other unfair playing practices or otherwise violating these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Contest at any time if fraud, technical failures, any unanticipated occurrence that is not fully addressed in these Official Rules or any other errors or other causes corrupt the administration, security, or integrity of the Contest. In the event of cancellation, Sponsor reserves the right to determine the winner from among all eligible, non-suspect Entries received up until the time of cancellation, and in a manner determined by Sponsor to be fair, appropriate, and consistent with these Official Rules, or may not award the prize at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Internet access charges imposed by your online service provider may apply. If you are using a mobile device to enter the Contest, standard data rates may apply from your wireless carrier. All received Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.
Neither the Sponsor, Administrator, their parent, affiliates nor any of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, members, successors, assign, or representatives (individually and collectively, “Releasees”) are responsible for Entries that are not in compliance with these Official Rules; technical errors or difficulties, delayed, garbled or jumbled transmissions; whether due to electronic, human, mechanical, printing, production or technical errors or other causes; even if caused by the negligence of any of the Releasees. Furthermore, neither the Sponsor nor Administrator is responsible for a third party’s failure to act in accordance with Sponsor’s instructions pertaining to Contest implementation.
7.JUDGING: All eligible Entries will be judged by a panel of judges consisting of personnel from the Sponsor and/or its agency (the “judging panel”) to determine the top scoring Entry. The decisions of the judging panel are final and binding. All eligible Entries will be judged based on the following criteria:
- Personal Connection (1-15 points): Entrant provides a clear explanation or representation for why they should win the once-in-a-lifetime experience.
- Uniqueness of Entry (1-15 points): Video/application stands out among other submissions due to story, surprise or creative elements.
- Engagement (1-15 points): Video/application was engaging, emotional and/or entertaining for the judges.
- Fandom with Hot Wheels™ (1-20 points): Video features entrant engaging with Hot Wheels™ products/brand, proving they’re a great fit for the Grand Prize.
- It Factor/Representation (1-15): Someone who embodies the resilience of a Hot Wheels™ spokesperson and is comfortable being on camera.
- Leadership Qualities (1-20): Proven leadership track record, potentially showing your literal report card, of "winning at life."
At the conclusion of judging, the Entry with the highest overall score will be deemed the Grand Prize winner. The Entrant who submitted the top scoring Entry will be awarded Grand Prize, and the child featured in the Video will receive the title of “Hot Wheels™ Tiniest Team Principal 2026.”
Ties: In the event of a tie, the Entry from among the tied Entries with the highest score for Personal Connection will win. In the event of further ties, the judging panel will make the final determination as to which Entry will win the Grand Prize.
8.ONE GRAND PRIZE: The Grand Prize consisting of two (2) parts.
Grand Prize part 1 of 2: A trip for Grand Prize winner and up to three (3) guests to attend the FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX 2026 (the “Event”), including:
(a) roundtrip, coach class air transportation for winner and guests from a major commercial airport located within the United States near winner’s/guests’ place of primary residence (as selected in Mattel’s sole discretion) to a commercial airport near Event destination. If winner/guest resides within one hundred (100) miles of the Event, Mattel reserves the right in its sole discretion to substitute air transportation for ground transportation for that individual;
(b) three (3) nights’ hotel accommodations (standard double-occupancy rooms, depending on the hotel room availability and as determined in Mattel’s sole discretion) for winner and guests;
(c) up to four (4) F1® tickets to attend the Event;
(d) one (1) custom Hot Wheels™ Swag Box with the Hot Wheels™ F1® die-cast collection and Hot Wheels™ F1® track sets . Selection of items are at Mattel’s sole discretion.
(e) $1000 spending money awarded in the form of corporate check.
Grand Prize part 2 of 2: A trip for Grand Prize winner and up to three (3) guests to Mattel headquarters, including:
(a) roundtrip, coach class air transportation for winner and guests from a major commercial airport located within the United States near winner’s/guests’ place of primary residence (as selected in Mattel’s sole discretion) to Los Angeles, CA. If winner/guest resides within one hundred (100) miles of Los Angeles, Mattel reserves the right in its sole discretion to substitute air transportation for ground transportation for that individual;
(b) two (2) nights’ hotel accommodations (standard double-occupancy rooms, depending on the hotel room availability and as determined in Mattel’s sole discretion) for winner and guests;
(c) a visit to Mattel headquarters and where the winner and child may possibly be interviewed;
(d) $1000 spending money awarded in the form of corporate check.
(e) Custom Hot Wheels™ swag like t-shirts, race jackets, race jumpsuit, helmet or other apparel items. Selection of items are at Mattel’s sole discretion.
Approximate retail value (“ARV”) of total Grand Prize part 1 and 2: up to $11,000. Actual value may vary depending on location of winner and existing rate at time of booking. If the actual value of Grand Prize is lower than the stated ARV when prize is procured and fulfilled, the difference will not be awarded.
Grand Prize trip must be taken on dates determined by the Sponsor or Administrator, or winner forfeits a portion or all portions to the Grand Prize. Travel arrangements must be made through Sponsor and/or Administrator. Travel dates and arrangements are subject to availability, blackout dates, and other prize and travel restrictions. Advance booking is required. The Event is subject to certain terms and conditions as specified by Event provider. If the Event is not available or has occurred, or if winner chooses not to partake in any portion of the prize, or no guest, the remaining portion of prize shall not be subject to further or alternative compensation. All elements in each part of the Grand Prize must be redeemed at the same time, and no changes will be permitted after any reservation is made, or confirmation of any redemption. If a winner is between the ages of eighteen (18) and twenty(20), he/she must be accompanied by an adult of at least twenty-one (21) years of age in order to check into the hotel and required to provide a valid major credit card to the hotel to cover incidentals which are not included in the Grand Prize. Unless it is a child or ward of winner, guest must be eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the date of departure and must travel on the same itinerary and at the same time as the winner. Grand Prize will be awarded as is and consists only of the elements expressly set forth above; no other elements or expenses (including, without limitation, insurance, meals, phone calls, baggage, gratuities, incidentals, souvenirs, gasoline, etc.) are included in the Grand Prize and all such expenses are the sole responsibility of winner. Contest Entities and Releasees are not liable for any expenses incurred as a consequence of flight, hotel or Event cancellation/delay. Winner is responsible for any air travel taxes and/or expenses, including applicable departure taxes or fees, inspection charges, baggage fees, and security charges. Winner and his/her guests are responsible for obtaining, at their own expense, any necessary travel documentation (i.e., valid travel identification such as Real ID, etc.) prior to travel. Trip may not be combined with any other offer and travel may not qualify for frequent flyer miles. Once issued, tickets are non-transferable, non-changeable and non-refundable. Should any portion of a prize become unavailable, a prize of similar nature and value may be offered, at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Winner and guests must follow all instructions given by any representative during the trip, including, but not limited to, in-flight, hotel stay and during the Event. The representative involved reserves the right to revoke a winner and/or the guest’s participation for failure to follow any instructions during the trip and/or Event, or if a winner and/or any guest appears to be intoxicated, be a safety risk, or has violated any policy or law. Winner and his/her guests must agree that all travel, lodging and activities will be at their own risk. If winner determines that travel is not possible due to health or safety reasons or any reasons, after the trip is booked, the winner will forfeit all rights to the prize, and no compensation or substitution will be awarded. If winner is unable to travel, the Sponsor reserves the right to visit the winner’s place of residence at a mutually agreed time and interview and film/photograph the winner and child depicted in the Video, all at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
By accepting the prize, winner and his/her guests agree to hold harmless the Contest Entities, and their parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and each of their respective employees, shareholders, directors, officers, employees, members, agents, successors, and assigns harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of the use or misuse of the prize, or any travel related activities. Winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused by participation in this Contest or use or redemption of any prize awarded to him or her.
9.PRIZE WINNER DETERMINATION AND VERIFICATION: On or about June 23, 2026, the potential Grand Prize winner will be notified via direct message (DM) and required to respond to the initial DM within two (2) days and provide the required information. Thereafter, the potential winner will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability and publicity release (“Affidavit”) to Administrator within five (5) days of notification date, in order to claim his/her Prize. Each of winner’s guest will also be required to sign and return a release of liability and publicity (“Release”). Winner must complete and sign the Release on minor’s behalf. Winner will be required to furnish his/her Social Security number to the Administrator, and an IRS Form 1099 will be filed in the name of the winner for the value of the Grand Prize. The Administrator will be overseeing the 1099-Misc process. The potential Grand Prize winner and any adult guest(s) must consent to a background check. If the results of the background check for the potential winner are deemed unsatisfactory, the potential winner may be disqualified from winning the Prize. If the results of a background check for any guest are deemed unsatisfactory, such guest will not be allowed to travel as a guest of the winner. At the sole discretion of the Administrator or Sponsor, prize forfeiture and the determination of an alternate winner may result from any of the following: i) an Affidavit or a prize notification is returned as undeliverable; ii) a respond to the initial DM notification or the Affidavit is not returned within the date specified on notification; iii) a winner is otherwise found to be ineligible; iv) winner cannot travel on dates specified by Sponsor or Administrator; v) winner does not accept or receive the prize for any reason; and vi) any other non-compliance with these Official Rules. There will be one (1) alternate potential winner notification for an unawarded Grand Prize after which the Grand Prize will remain unawarded. If no qualified Entries are received that meet the Contest criteria, the prize will not be awarded.
10.GENERAL CONDITIONS: Releasees are not responsible for any change of Account or email address if response is not received or any notification is returned as undeliverable, or if a potential winner is not reachable at email address or phone number provided, that potential winner will be disqualified, and such prize will be awarded to an alternate potential winner with the next highest scoring Entry. All taxes (including but not limited to federal, state, local, sales and income tax) are the sole responsibility of winner. Except where prohibited by law, Entry and acceptance of a prize constitute permission for Sponsor to use winner's name, prize won, hometown, likeness, photographs/videos and statements/comments for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity (including online posting) in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification or permission. Any depiction of a prize is for illustrative purposes only and may not reflect actual prize won. At the sole discretion of the Sponsor, no prize substitutions will be available. Prize is not redeemable for cash. No transfer of prize to a third party is permitted. All persons, by participating in this Contest, agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and Administrator shall be final and binding.
11.DATA PROTECTION/PRIVACY: As a condition of entering the Contest and any other time you provide your information to Sponsor, you agree to the collection, processing, storage, and sharing (i.e., by way of example only, with Sponsor’s parent company, its affiliates, and with third-party partners, service providers, etc.), of your information (including your personal information or personal data) by Sponsor for the purpose of administering this Contest (i.e., communicate with you, process your submission, etc.) and to comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. If you are selected as a winner, your information may also be included in a publicly available winner’s list.
12.RELEASES: Entrants, winner and his/her guests agree to release, defend and hold harmless Releasees, as well as the employees, officers, directors and agents of each, from all claims and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses of any kind to persons (including death) and property which may be sustained in connection with either directly or indirectly, 1) the awarding, receipt, ownership, use or misuse of the prize awarded herein; or 2) participation in the Contest or any prize-related activities, including but not limited to traveling to or from any prize-related activity. Sponsor is not responsible if a prize or a portion of a prize cannot be awarded due to travel cancellations, delays or interruptions due to acts of God, acts of war, natural disasters, weather or acts of terrorism. In the event viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, Acts of God, acts or regulations of any governmental or supra-national authority, war, national emergency, accident, fire, riot, strikes, lock-outs, industrial disputes, acts of terrorism, pandemics or other matters beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control, corrupt, prevent or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Contest, so that it cannot be conducted as originally planned, except where prohibited by law, Sponsor has the right, in its sole discretion, to modify the Official Rules or to cancel, modify, terminate or suspend the Contest. Winner and his/her guests assume all liability for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused by participation in this Contest or use or redemption of any prize. Releasees assume no liability or responsibility in connection with the safety or performance of prize awarded hereunder nor in connection with any warranty or representation therewith. By entering the Contest, each Entrant affirms that they have read, understood and accepted these Official Rules. The laws of California apply to and govern Contest, and any claims must be raised and resolved in California.
Releasees are not responsible for human errors, or any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive Entry information by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof. Releasees are also not responsible for any injury or damage to an Entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in or downloading any materials in conjunction with the Contest.
CAUTION: Any attempt by an Entrant to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operations of the Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person or persons to the fullest extent permitted by law.
13.WINNER’S LIST: For winner’s name, send a self-addressed stamped envelope on or before June 30, 2026 to: Hot Wheels Team Principal Title 2026 Contest Winner’s List, c/o Ventura Associates Int'l LLC, Ref WG, 494 Eighth Avenue, Suite 1700, New York, NY 10001.
14.REFERENCE:
Entrants in the Contest agree to be bound by the Circuit of the Americas’ (the “Event Organizer”) event terms and conditions, including any applicable age restrictions. The Event Organizer, event personnel and staff and its agents, each reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to remove or revoke full or partial access to the event, to any winner and/or guests who do not comply with the Event Organizer's terms and conditions.
Formula One World Championship Limited and its related companies (“F1”) and the Event Organizer each are not responsible for or involved in the organization, development, execution or results of this Contest. This Contest is organized exclusively by Mattel, Inc. Therefore, F1 and the Event Organizer each assume no responsibility for any aspect related to the dynamics of the Contest, including but not limited to, the selection of winner, the awarding of the prize, or any inconvenience that may arise during the Contest. Any queries, complaints or concerns regarding the Contest should be directed directly to Mattel, Inc., and not F1 or the Event Organizer. F1 and the Event Organizer, including any of their subsidiaries or affiliates, each waive any liability arising from the Contest and shall not be liable for any damage, injury or inconvenience that may arise in connection with the Contest.
