2021

  • 95% FSC in Packaging - Achieved 95% recycled or Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified content in the paper and wood fiber used across Barbie product lines.
  • Barbie Loves the Ocean - Barbie launches the Future of Pink is Green with Barbie Loves the Ocean dolls and playsets made from 90% recycled ocean-bound plastic**.

2022

  • Barbie x Jane Goodall - Dr. Jane Goodall's decades of ground-breaking research and heroic achievements as a conservationist were honored in the Barbie Inspiring WomenTM series, made from 75% recycled plastics.†† 
  • Eco-Leadership Team - The Barbie Eco-Leadership Team inspired kids to love the environment and make a difference through sustainability. Product includes dolls and fabric made from recycled plastic.†
  • Fashion Packs Made From Recycled Plastic - Fashion packs featuring fabric made from recycled plastic and a reusable vinyl package that can be used to fill, carry, and customize.

2023

  • Barbie Loves the Ocean Wave 2 - Wave 2 of Barbie Loves the Ocean collection featured diverse dolls, fabrics, and accessories made from 90% recycled materials and ocean bound plastics.**

2024

  • Barbie Getaway HouseTM - The Barbie Getaway HouseTM is our first dollhouse made using 70% ISCC-Certified Plastics*† featuring design cues that will inspire kids and promote sustainable behavior.
