Yinuo is the co-founder of ETU Education, an innovative effort in education with an ecosystem view. ETU’s efforts include a K–12 physical school that is committed to exploring innovative methodologies in basic education within a global context, a teacher professional development system that leverages experience from private sectors to further empower frontline teachers, and an online community aimed at parent education. ETU aims to cultivate graduates who have global competency and strong intrinsic motivations to drive positive changes in the connected world. Yinuo’s Op-Ed about ETU was selected in WISE Education Forum’s Special Focus in 2017.

Yinuo is a mother of three young children. In her personal capacity, she and her husband co-founded the WeChat public account “nulishehui” in 2014, which became one of the most-followed accounts for readers who care about social and global issues, with over 1.2 million followers. In 2017 Yinuo also founded her personal online learning community called “Nuoyan,” which is focused on lifelong learning and personal and professional development. So far, Nuoyan has attracted more than 17,000 registered online users from around the world.

Yinuo serves on the Academic Advisory Board for the Schwarzman Scholarship and was on the final selection committee of Rhodes Scholarship in China from 2015 to 2019. Yinuo was selected as World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leader in 2016 and was elected the “Top 10 Charity Figure of the Year” by ifeng.com in 2017. In 2018 she was awarded “Women of the Year” by Portrait Magazine and was listed by the Center for China and Globalization as one of “40 Influential Returnees in 40 Years of Reform and Opening Up.”
